Mobile Notary Services

Brandon provides a range of Notarial Services. The types of Notarial Services provided are:

  • Acknowledgments: This service verifies your identity and confirms that you willingly signed a document, like a property deed or contract. You don't have to sign it in front of the notary, but you must personally confirm to them that the signature is yours.

  • Jurats: A jurat requires you to sign your document in front of the notary and swear a spoken oath that the information inside is true. This is commonly used for legal paperwork like affidavits or statements of fact.

  • Oaths and Affirmations: This is a formal, spoken promise that you are telling the truth, either sworn to a higher power (an oath) or made on your personal honor (an affirmation). The notary administers this pledge to ensure honesty before you give testimony or sign certain legal documents.

  • Copy Certifications: The notary compares your original document to a photocopy and stamps the copy to prove it is an exact reproduction. Keep in mind that notaries usually cannot certify copies of official government records like birth, death, or marriage certificates.

  • Signature Witnessing: For this service, the notary simply checks your ID and watches you physically sign the document. Unlike other services, you don't have to swear an oath about the document's contents.

Pennsylvania Department of State Mandated Fees

The PA Department of State has mandated what fees can be charged for a specific Notarial Act. These maximum prices cannot be exceeded by any notary. The below fee schedule does not include any Clerical or Administrative Fees. Clerical and Administrative Fees may be set by the notary.

Pricing and Payment FAQs

How are notary fees calculated?

Brandon provides a quote when a client describes their needs. Assuming the description is accurate, and more services are not required, the client will pay only what they are quoted. If the services that are required change, then Brandon reserves the right to change the pricing. The pricing will never change after the Notarial Act is performed.

Are there additional charges for travel?

Travel will be included in the price you are quoted. Brandon reserves the right to charge for travel that is different than what is quoted if the client requires travel to a different location than what was quoted.

What payment methods do you accept?

Brandon accepts Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, and Cash.

Will I receive a receipt for my fees?

All clients receive an itemized receipt that details the exact fees they paid.
